Help GorillAZ Compete and Explore Beyond Phoenix

I'm Jake and I am the coach and founder of the GorillAZ. I have been running a basketball program for young men in inner city Phoenix AZ since 2020. This team is an opportunity to teach kids about responsibility, sportsmanship and leadership. I've been blessed to work with some very special young men. We are planning a trip and need assistance with finances for a basketball tournament and housing and food for the boys. This trip will give the team an opportunity to get outside the Phoenix area and explore on and off the court. I will be taking the boys to Mount Lemmon to do some hiking and sightseeing while we aren't competing on the court. The funds will go toward securing a house for the weekend for the team to stay in together. This will allow us the opportunity to spend quality time bonding as a team, cook team meals together, provide a safe place to stay and create lasting memories together. These boys work hard on and off the court. Many of them have been working jobs, performing in the classroom, saving for college, attending practices and tournaments, and staying engaged in their school and local communities.
