We are reaching out with heavy hearts and an urgent request for support after a devastating house fire changed everything for a man who spent his life giving to others. Gordy Sharbono is a Vietnam veteran who served his country and then returned home to continue to serve his community in many ways, even to this day. As a single father, he raised his two children, Dustin and Amanda, with strength, sacrifice, and unwavering love. Today, he is a beloved Poppa and Great Poppa, titles that mean the world to him and those who love him.
In a matter of moments, the fire took away the place he called home and the sense of stability he worked so hard to build. Right now, many of his immediate needs are still unknown, and the days ahead are filled with uncertainty. What is clear is that support is needed—help to get through the immediate aftermath and begin the long road forward. Funds will help with storage, cleaning saved items, and covering unknown future expenses as Gordy recovers and rebuilds.
We are asking for your help during this critical time, with many things still left unanswered, bad weather, and most places operating odd days/hours for the next two weeks. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference and allow him to focus on recovery rather than worry. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing, sending prayers, thoughts, and caring words for Gordy. This is a moment to stand behind a man who has stood for his country, his family, and his community. Your kindness, generosity, and action right now truly matter. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. The Sharbono Family
