The basic needs of my family while I am on recovery from radical kidney removal surgery. This is due to being on disability and not able to have FMLA since I am only able to work part time. Back in February, I became very sick and was losing blood internally due to an upper GI bleed. Further tests where ran and there was a 5cm mass found inside my left kidney. I began to feel better after receiving 2 units to blood plus 2 units of iron while in hospital. My surgery date for the total nephrectomy is scheduled for JUNE 22 at the UAB in Birmingham Alabama. I will be in recovery for 4-6 weeks and will not have the income I normally have whole being a driver for rental cars part time. This is to help with travels to and from Birmingham Alabama, groceries for our family and basic needs such as deodorant, toiletries, laundry soap, etc.
