My name is Gordon Christopher Powrie, and I represent Scotland in International Slam Poetry competitions.

This year I finished 3rd in the European Poetry Slam Championships, earning Scotland a place at the World Poetry Slam Championships in Juarez, Mexico, May 29th - June 1st 2025.

I need your help to get there though...

Due to government budget cuts in Mexico, funding has been reduced and I need to raise £1200 for travel to take my place at the World Championships. Can you help?
