My Uncle is going to Mexico for HSCT (stem cell) but he needs help


This all started about 5 years ago when my uncle Gord started  losing his strength and was having a hard time trying to get himself to work.. The doctors kept putting him off saying he was going through depression.  After a year or so of this and many sick days from work he  developed double vision and vertigo and was off work a couple months. The doctors finally took it serious and sent him for an MRI.

It was  6 months  before Gord got in for the MRI and another 6 months before he got his diagnosis.  Free Health Care right!!!!!

I know how it made me feel when he told me, I couldn't imagine how Gord felt when he was told. Gord has been on daily injections since. Its supposed to slow the progression of the MS. Unfortunately Gord's last check up in April 2018 has proven that the MS is progressing and the medication isnt working like it should. The disease is attacking the right side of his body and he is  struggling with daily things like walking which has put a burden on his ability to do his job.

So here is what the next course of action is. Gord has been following a group about HSCT ( Hematopoietic stem cell transplant) that help's with MS. Some say its cured them, most say its stopped the progression of it and is even reversing the damage that MS does. Gord doesn't have time to wait years for the procedure to be approved  in Canada so he has locked his sights on Mexico. You have to apply and get approved then you have to have the money up front and paid two months before the treatment starts.
