This is Goose. A little black cat that showed up at my colony on one of the coldest days, right before a huge snowstorm. Then she disappeared. Weeks later, there she was again with her huge Disney eyes, waiting for me. She was trapped in record time. She was starving, and ready to come inside.
At her first vet appointment we learned she was just a year-ish old. We got her fixed and waited for a foster to come along.
Inside, she started to warm up, gobbling up Churus and wrestling with a catnip banana. It became clear that she’d been dumped outside, forced to fend for herself in the coldest months.
But then … she started throwing up. A lot. When she wasn’t throwing up she was on a hunger strike. After several days, we had to take her to VERG, the vet hospital.
The good news is, she’s ok! She was super friendly with the vet techs, and just so very brave. Her x-ray didn’t show a blockage, and she went home with some anti-nausea meds.
Oh, and a $906 vet bill. Please help me help Goose pay off her medical debt!
