My cat Goose is only a year old, but he’s already become such an important part of my life and family. Recently, Goose was found to have high potassium and kidney levels, along with a painful urinary blockage. He’s in urgent need of emergency care and overnight monitoring to save his life. As a college student working a minimum wage job, I’m doing everything I can to help him, but the costs are overwhelming. Seeing Goose in pain is heartbreaking, and I want nothing more than to give him the care he needs to recover and live a happy, healthy life.
The funds raised will go directly toward Goose’s emergency treatment at the clinic. This includes sedation, pain medication, and flushing his bladder to clear the blockage. He’ll need 1-2 days of 24-hour monitoring, IV fluids for dehydration, and a specialized diet to help balance the pH in his urine and reduce the risk of future blockages. The clinic has told me that more treatments may be needed once he’s under their care, and even with the new diet, there’s a chance this could happen again. I’m not the kind of person to give up on a cat with medical conditions—no family should have to say goodbye to a beloved pet because of financial difficulties.
Goose has such a big personality and has brought so much joy to my life since I brought him home as a kitten. I love him dearly, and I’m reaching out for help because anything you can give will make a difference for Goose and help me cover the cost of his treatment. Thank you so much for reading our story and for any support you can offer.
