Since 2017, we have poured our hearts and souls into making our little corner of Santa Monica Blvd as beautiful and welcoming as possible. Through hard work and dedication, we’ve built a community space where people can come together, enjoy themselves, and feel at home. But now, all of that is under attack.

OPO PROPERTIES (property management for Wiseman Residential) is suing us and demanding $500,000—for simply improving our block, having a patio, advertising our small business, and even the names of our drinks. This isn’t just a lawsuit; it’s an attempt to bully and intimidate a minority-owned small business that has worked tirelessly to survive—especially through the hardships of the pandemic.

To make matters worse, their own manager was arrested for throwing a 9-foot tree branch at one our staff, our Operations Manager. Despite our efforts to find common ground, we have been met with hate, disdain, and treatment as second-class citizens. This is not just about us—this is about standing up to corporate greed and ensuring that hardworking small businesses are not silenced.
