Hi friends, my name is Ariek and I need your help. My dog Goodie is a 4-year-old dachshund who was just diagnosed with IVDD, meaning she's got a herniated disc in her spine that is causing her paralysis.

Those of you who know Ruben and I personally know that our pups are my children, and we are beside ourselves trying to navigate this difficult situation. We're devastated for our active girl who lives for fetch and hanging out with her dog friends in her Doxie club. We would deeply appreciate any and all help possible towards getting her treatment.

We need help raising funds to hopefully get her surgery. We have pet insurance, but that means we can only get partial reimbursement for treatments and have to come up with the funds ourselves before treatment.

We’re going to do all we can, but this requires us to travel far so our girl can see a vet who specializes in this kind of surgery. We can’t do this without your help and we would be forever grateful for any and all help you can give during this time.
