Help Gomez get his life saving surgery

Our chihuahua x Pomeranian puppy Gomez has recently been diagnosed with a severe condition called Atlanto-Axial instability and Subluxation, this is a condition Gomez was born with yet we were unaware due to his big personality from birth and brave character. Gomez started to show signs of being unstable and generally depressed not being able to play with his brother or act like a typical puppy so we took him to our local vets who referred him to Southfields Neurology Department who were nothing short of amazing with him. Due to the condition he has and the severity of it without the surgery Gomez will have to spend his life resting with a specialist Neck brace, although this specialist neck brace will improve his quality of life it won’t fix his condition and allow him to live normally alongside his brother. Gomez can’t be fixed with conservative treatment as he was born with this condition rather than acquired it, his bone is too short and he has pressure on his spinal cord which you can see in the imaging attached, his neck muscles are helping to hold his head up which is extremely tiring for him and with one wrong movement Gomez could be completely paralysed or even die if the compression on the spine is severe. Gomez’s surgery is a specialist surgery that requires specialist tools because he is so little and we have run out of funds to afford this, please help save our tiny boy’s life by donating any amount, he’s not just our pet but a member of our family as I’m sure a lot of you can relate to and he would love to be able to run around with his brother.
