Golden Valley Hoops is fundraising to expand our scholarship program for student-athletes to be able to participate in our AAU programs, so we can expand opportunities to lower income families. Additionally, we are also fundraising to provide expand our basketball programs, purchase additional/new equipment, tournament opportunities, etc. All donations are tax deductible. Golden Valley Hoops of Napa, CA, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 41-3827725).

Our mission is to to provide an affordable and positive sports program that develops youth athletic skills, character, teamwork, and leadership while promoting academic success and community engagement.

We are an AAU basketball program led by Ali Koroma, a former standout at Prolific Prep and a Division-I player for both Cal Poly and the University of Portland, and David Silva. Under Golden Valley Hoops leadership, the program focuses on developing skilled, confident players through hard work, smart fundamentals, and a team-first mindset. Ali brings high-level playing experience and a passion for mentorship to every practice and game, helping athletes refine their skills, understand the game more deeply, and build strong character both on and off the court. Golden Valley Hoops combines competitive opportunities with professional coaching to give young ballers in the Napa region a chance to grow and compete at their best.
