Help Golda Find a Safe Home in Manhattan

My name is Catherine and I am a Nurse Practitioner. I have had the pleasure of knowing this fabulous woman, Golda, for over 50 years. At 87 years old, Golda was recently forced to be separated from her life partner and now is struggling financially to find housing in Manhattan on her own. Unfortunately, she has very limited savings and survives on only her monthly social security income. I am reaching out to the community and friends to help Golda live the rest of her life comfortably. I think we can agree, no one, especially a senior should have to go through this.

We found housing but it is $1700/month and her SS is $1500/month. I feel fortunate to have a roof over my head, and know where my next meal is coming from, but this lovely, compassionate woman is facing a difficult time right now and it's heartbreaking.
