Our longtime landscaper and friend contracted a severe case of encephalitis several months ago.  He has been in and out of the hospital several times and his doctors have been unable to find a cure for him.  His mental capacity has been badly compromised..he is no longer able to stand or walk and his mind is now that of a child.  His loving partner Kathy Miller has been by his side 24/7 since his illness was discovered.  She can no longer care for him and along with Gogy's doctors have decided the best thing for him is to return to his mother and family in Mexico as soon as possible. The doctors have recommended that he be transported by air ambulance to Mexico City and then by ambulance to his home about 5 1/2 hours from Mexico City.  But at this time they are not willing to pay for it. Gogy has no insurance so Kathy is attempting to pay the cost of his return home to Mexico using her credit cards. 
Anyone that knew the healthy Gogy recognizes that he was a kind, honest and hardworking man and does not deserve this fate.
