Help God’s Gym Owner Rebuild His Home

A pillar of strength and support in our Oakland / Bay Area community has experienced a major tragedy. In the early hours on the morning of Thursday, April 15th 2021, Gary Shields Sr. - along with his two grand kids, his son, and his daughter, were dramatically woken up to a large fire at their residence, which engulfed their home along with everything in it.

As many may know, Gary Shields Sr. (also known as Pops), has dedicated his life to helping others; as a mentor to anyone in need, a pastor, a teacher, a coach, an activist, a father, a grandfather, and much much more - Pops has always given his time and support to anyone needing a shoulder to lean on - now is a chance for our community to stand up and give back to a man that has always unselfishly been a pillar of strength to anyone facing hardship, and dedicated his life to giving back. While Pops in unaware of this gofund me - we had to set it up for him because he has given so much, and still would never ask for anything in return.
