A few days ago, something happened that hit us hard.

Our skid steer, the machine that powers so much of what we do at Go Green OC caught fire.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. But the reality is simple: without a skid steer, our compost operation stop altogether (although we are scrambling to find a rental because our season has begun!)

And right now, we can’t afford for that to happen.

We've won many awards - including BEST INITIATIVE & COMMUNITY SPIRIT 2026

We’ve built a volunteer movement.

We’ve changed how people think about trash.

And we’re just getting started.

The Ask

We need to move quickly.

We’re currently looking to purchase a reliable used tractor so we can get operations fully back up and running without missing a beat.

To make that happen, we’re asking for:

Deposits and early support to help us secure a used tractor immediately

Every contribution goes directly toward replacing this critical piece of equipment and keeping our mission alive.

Go Green OC was built from the ground up by people who care deeply about this place and believe small actions can create massive impact. Not a single board member receives a salary or any type of payment, this is how we've made incredible change.
