A good idea needs a plan you can work with. A new employee needs training that makes sense. I’m building Go Find Learning with both in mind.

I’m Russ Holliday, founder of Go Find Learning in Wilson County, North Carolina. I’ve put a lot into getting this business started, and I’m asking for help getting the first products finished and into people’s hands.

I’ve spent more than a decade working in operations, field training, recruiting, People Operations, and Learning & Development. That experience has shaped what I want to build: resources people can understand and put to use in their lives and at work.

Go Find Learning brings that work together in three areas:

  • Studio: Workbooks, planners, toolkits, and downloadable resources that help people organize their ideas, build skills, and work through everyday tasks. These are our first products planned for release, starting with digital and printable versions. Physical editions are planned for selected workbooks.
  • Learning Solutions: Training courses, onboarding materials, and resources for employees and managers. We’ll also create custom learning content for businesses and offer materials they can license.
  • Technology: Apps and digital tools, including an AI-supported learning platform with a learning assistant. The platform is being developed to help businesses deliver training and give learners help with the material along the way. These projects will move forward in stages as we test them and learn what customers need.

I’ve already invested in setting up the company, equipment, branding, domains, and the tools needed to do this work.

The next step is getting the first Studio products finished and ready to sell. That means completing the writing and design, reviewing the content, and making sure the products are ready for people to use. Alongside that, the plan is to prepare training samples and connect with businesses that could use our services.

Our fundraising goal is $75,000 to help support the business through its first year while we work toward income from products and customer projects.

Contributions would help pay for product development, software, website costs, equipment, workspace needs, and necessary business travel. They would also help cover marketing, accounting, legal support, insurance, and specialist help where needed.

Part of the funding would support my time developing products, working with customers, and running the business. A reasonable reserve would help cover unexpected expenses along the way.

Here’s how the funding would build toward the full goal:

  • The first $25,000 would support the initial Studio products, training samples, essential tools and equipment, and customer outreach.
  • Reaching $50,000 would support more product releases, efforts to reach business customers, and delivery of early training and custom learning projects.
  • Reaching $75,000 would help cover more of the first year’s work and expenses as product sales, learning services, and licensing develop.

These are three stages toward the same goal. What we raise will determine how much we can finish and how quickly we can move.

I want to build a business that can support itself by making useful products and doing good work for customers. Your contribution would help me get more of that work finished while I build those customer relationships.

If you’d like to help, I’d really appreciate your support. Sharing this campaign would help, too. And if you know someone who could use what we’re developing, an introduction could make a difference.

Go Find Learning is a for-profit business. Donations do not provide ownership, investment returns, or guaranteed products.

Thank you for taking the time to see what I’m building and for any support you can give.
