Help poor Gnarly's poor jaw!!
Donation protected
Hey everybody, Todd here.
This really isn't something I would typically do and actually feel insanely guilty when I do ask for help but alas I'm looking for a little help to get my little guy Gnarly back to 100%.
While he is an absolutely fantastic, top level, A+ companion... He can be a territorial little guy which unfortunately has lead to fights with other cats in the neighborhood that resulted in costly visits to the vet to patch him up. He was adopted and whoever owned him initially had him declawed so while he tries, he can't necessarily defend himself as well as he would like to.
Unfortunately a recent skirmish has left him with a jaw injury that has him in constant pain. The guy can't eat, he can't even open up his mouth wide enough to make a sound without grimacing in pain or furiously pawing at his face. Unfortunately after getting him checked out, there is a fracture and this isn't a "give him soft food for a month" situation and he is going to need it surgically repaired as soon as possible to get back to normal and pain free.
Personally this is honestly a terrible time financially for something like this to be happening. As most pet owners know the cost of surgery for an animal in a lot of cases is prohibitively expensive. So, even though it really does make me uncomfortable to ask for help, I don't have any other options.
I am only asking for help with a portion of the cost for the procedure, I'll deal with the rest but I would be so grateful for any help that anyone could give to get Ol' Gnarly back up and running again. He is absolutely miserable and I hate it :(
If you read this, thank you for at least considering the little guy.
Cheers,
Todd.
