I’m Kristie Swanson, from Omaha, NE and trying to help my family in Texas. As you may have seen on the news, the Hill Country in Central Texas was ravaged with floods over the 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately, my family was directly impacted. We got the devastating news this week that we lost my Uncle Gus (August Panning) to flood waters. We are all in a state of shock. His brother, my Uncle Glynn, and Cousin Bree lived next door and thankfully survived, but lost their home, vehicles, and all of their possessions. As with most floods, insurance is little to no help. They are now facing having to rebuild their lives with shattered hearts and no home to return to. I have set this up to help cover final expenses for Gus and also help Glynn and Bree begin to start over. They are the type of people that would help anyone at any time.
