All who know Gloria Watts, love her. We all know that she dedicated her entire life to children's theatre and changing the lives of countless kids, but she did not plan very well for the end of hers. In March of this year, she almost passed away and was in the hospital from multiple infections. She was then diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer's and we have spent the last year trying to make her comfortable and figure out this new reality. In the last week her Dementia and Alzheimer's disease have progressed rapidly. At this point she is unaware of reality, confused and barely able to form sentences. Because of this unexpected decline, she is unable to care for herself and will require round the clock, 24/7 care for the rest of her life. For the last several years Mary and I have supplemented our Mom's finances and helped to sustain her financially, but this is now to a point where we cannot do it alone. We want our Mom to be able to spend the rest of her days comfortably and safe with the medical care she needs. Anything helps and is appreciated more than we can possibly say.
