Help Gloria Overcome Advanced Parkinson’s
Donation protected
My name is Ana Nogales, and I’m raising funds for a remarkable woman: Gloria Isabel Romero Ramírez, from Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico.
Gloria has spent her entire life caring for others. As a young woman, she devoted herself to raising her younger orphaned siblings, putting their well-being above her own dreams. When she had the chance, she migrated to the United States and worked tirelessly as a nanny, so she could send money home and help pay for her siblings’ education.
She lived a life of generosity and service, always giving, never asking for anything in return. But now, Gloria faces a challenge she cannot overcome alone: advanced Parkinson’s disease. She needs a specialized surgery to implant an electrode that would relieve her symptoms and allow her to live with dignity. The public hospital in Guadalajara is helping by providing the operating room and hospital stay, but they cannot cover the cost of the electrode or the surgeon’s fees.
Gloria never had the chance to receive a pension or retirement benefits, and she now lives with very limited resources. Her family—though full of love—does not have the means to fund such an expensive surgery.
We are seeking to raise $25,000 USD to cover the cost of the implant and the medical team. Any contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Gloria the health and hope she deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting this cause.
