I’m raising funds for Gloria, an incredibly hardworking and kind woman who has been supporting her young daughter on her own. Gloria is a single mother to a 6-year-old girl and works as an independent cleaner, doing everything she can to provide a stable life for her child. Recently, her car broke down, and it has completely disrupted her ability to manage daily life. Without reliable transportation, Gloria has been forced to depend on Uber just to get her daughter to school, go to work, and handle basic errands like grocery shopping. On days when she can’t afford rides, she has no choice but to walk—sometimes up to 5 miles—with her young daughter just to get what they need. Despite these challenges, Gloria continues to show up, work hard, and do her best for her child.

Her journey hasn’t been easy. Gloria lost both of her parents at a young age and didn’t have the opportunity to complete her education. Because of this, her career options are limited—but she has never stopped trying to build a better life through honest work.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help Gloria replace her car so she can get back on her feet. Reliable transportation would make a life-changing difference for her—allowing her to work consistently, care for her daughter, and move forward with stability.
