Hi! We are Max and Lisa Mangelsdorf. We are raising money for our beloved former nanny Gloria. She is pictured above with her second son Lindo and below with our family and her first son Siyabonga. She loves our family just like her very own and we love her!
Gloria lives in Johannesburg, South Africa, where times have been hard for many years. We have helped her for many years with rent and education, including helping put her first son through college. Gloria has worked so hard to raise her second son and build them a home of their own. Sadly, the current political situation and the COVID pandemic have made things exceptionally difficult in South Africa. Neither Gloria nor Siyabonga, has been able to find work for some time. The help we can give her is no longer enough.
