Organizer - Kenny Vieira (Nephew) Written by Rebecca Snell and Eddie Gallagher: Being married for 15 years to someone who is early for everything and plans for every thing that may happen, Glenn and I never saw this coming. I dropped Glenn off on Friday September 3rd at CCH emergency room expecting he had the flu or something. Instead, we got the devastating news that he has leukemia. Our world has turned upside down, it all feels like a horrible nightmare. I know one day he will be in remission, but unil then I will need to be with him to fight this. In order to do that, I will not be able to work my regular schedule. This will significantly impact our financial situation.
We are looking to our family and friends for financial support at this time. I will update on Glenn's condition when I can. Our good friend, Eddie Gallagher has taken the time to give you all little more background on Glenn and his situation... Glenn Snell received some bad news recently and he has already begun to take the fight to FLT3 mutated acute myloid Leukemia.
A proud Cape Cod Native, Glenn graduated from Barnstable High School in the great class of '85 before going on to play hockey for the Cadets of Norwich University. Glenn has been working for the COMM Water Department in Barnstable for several years. His doctor's say he must prepare to be out of work for a full year. His vacation days and sick time will run out in December. His social worker at Brigham and Dana Farber suggested setting up a GoFundMe account as his best option for weathering this storm financially as he focuses on treatment.
Glenn is as good a friend as so many of us have ever had. He's always there for us when things are at their worst. He could use our help. Please consider helping him fight Leukemia.
