Help Glenn & Donna Brooks recover from accident.

Glenn & Donna Brooks were in a major automobile accident on Thursday March 11, 2021 while returning home to Florida from a trip to Donna’s brothers house in Texas (Chuck & Barbara Daugherty).  Glenn’s service dog Ryker escaped from their pickup truck and was killed on the freeway after first responders opened the doors. The truck was a total loss as well  

They had traveled to Texas to buy the pickup from Chuck but also a new puppy to replace another dog lost earlier.  

Ryker was trained to assist Glenn with his severe diabetic condition.  They are going to start training Meka to be a service dog as well.  This training is an expensive and time consuming process. 

Chuck & Barbara met Ryker when he was just a puppy and became the  reason why they got their own German Shepherd Loosie. Rykers loss to the family has affected their hearts  and souls. 

The incident occurred late in the evening near Gulfport Mississippi when a young driver went out of control causing a multi vehicle crash.  Glenn suffered multiple leg cuts and bruises. Donna was treated for a possible head injury. They were both transported by EMS to a local hospital. Police officers on the scene were able to safely locate the puppy Meka but unfortunately Ryker was killed.  Both Glenn and Donna are facing additional medical treatment and expenses. 

The Brooks really need financial assistance at this time for medical bills, to replace the truck and now to get the new puppy trained to be Glenn’s service dog.  Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.
