Help Glenn and Shelly get closer to work!

Hi, my name is Kiva, and I'm trying to help my very dear friends Glenn and Shelly.

Married during the pandemic, they have had a hard time starting their lives together...shutdown caused job losses, and Shelly struggled with recovering from Covid and developing COPD. Just before the pandemic hit, they chose to live in a camper while they house hunted, unaware a lockdown would happen, leaving them unable to proceed forward with their loan approval. They had no idea they would essentially be "stuck" in a camper, with all their belongings in storage. They never viewed it as stuck but chose to be grateful to have the trailer and their pets so that they could be their own little family together, moving where needed. Things were rough after this point, though.

Glenn got a job at Disney with the potential of a future and has been establishing himself, even getting a small promotion already. This job was not near the camper's location, and spot availability was limited anywhere. But they needed this opportunity, so Shelly drove many hours a day to get Glenn to work while still trying to do her jobs. Glenn's vision issues escalated during this time, leaving him with 20-30% vision...he required two eye surgeries. Despite insurance, out-of-pocket was more than they had the budget for, and there was a month of no work during his healing. Upon initial eye exams, they learned Glenn had diabetes, which had more piled on their plate. They were trying to line up moving to Orlando, but one thing after another kept happening. There were expensive car repairs on a vehicle they were scammed on, leaving that vehicle unable to be used; they didn't even get to drive it. They got an inexpensive backup car that also needed extensive repairs and is out of commission now. They currently have no transportation, leaving them stranded. Last month Shelly and Glenn got Covid, missed quite a bit of work and lost about $2,600 in wages. Glenn bounced back, but Shelly hasn't. The 2nd round of Covid weakened her lungs, and she stayed ill. This altered their plans to finally move the camper and relocate closer to Glenn's job, as the money was no longer there. In the interim, the camper air conditioner started to have issues, leaving it very warm inside for parts of the day. Then the propane line stopped working, leaving them with no way to use their stove or have hot water.

Glenn is a hard worker with a strong work ethic and has been a loyal, devoted employee, friend, relative and husband. He has cared for his nieces and nephews as children, his special needs sister, and his ill father. He now does a lot to help his wife when she's sick. And he does it all with a smile. Shelly helps every living creature she can and loves animals. She has been a steady volunteer with the elderly, children and animals over the years. She has been active in rescue and believes the most vulnerable need the most protection. Glenn and Shelly advocate strongly to make the world a better place and have always tried to help where they can.

It is essential they can be closer to Glenn's work, closer to public transportation, and closer to chances for Shelly to have better work options, as she too has an opportunity to get on with Disney and grow with them. Shelly can get on Glenn's health insurance next month, which has been very anxiously awaited and is very much needed...she has been sick for two years now with no ability to see doctors. They need to raise money for moving the camper, tires for the trailer, and all the expenses that go with relocating. They hope to be able to fix Shelly's car or find another at some point. If for some reason, they surpass the goal, the money would be used for that or for fixing their ac so they can be comfortable at home. These two are very deserving people.
