Earlier this summer, Glenda suffered the sudden and heartbreaking loss of her grandfather, a man who helped raise her and was a huge part of her life. In the wake of his passing, she had to take time off work to be with family, resulting in a significant loss of income. Since returning to work, she's had to further cut back her hours due to a lack of childcare, making it nearly impossible to catch up financially.

Now, Glenda is doing everything she can to ensure she and Savannah have a roof over their heads as the school year begins. The stress of grief combined with the looming threat of housing instability has taken a heavy toll on her. She has been putting her daughter’s needs first, but she needs some support to get through this stretch.
