Meet Glenda. Three weeks ago, ICE abducted her husband, Dennis, and left her to fend for herself and her four children. ICE followed her husband’s car as he was driving home, but unfortunately, he never made it inside the house. Neither he nor his wife was shown a warrant or told where he would be taken. His youngest child was out with her mom when Dennis was taken and witnessed the whole thing. Just a few days later, he was sent back to his home country.

Dennis was the breadwinner of the family. Now Glenda is left trying to figure out how to take care of all her household needs while grieving the absence of her husband and soothing her own trauma, as well as her children’s.

But she is not alone. You, reader, are part of the fabric that makes Baltimore strong. We take care of us. We save us.

Les presento a Glenda. Hace tres semanas, ICE secuestró a su esposo, Dennis, dejándola sola con sus cuatro hijos. ICE siguió el auto de su esposo mientras conducía a casa, pero desafortunadamente, nunca logró ingresar a la casa.
