I want to introduce you to someone truly special: Glen Arnett. Glen is a 67-year-old Las Vegas local, a kind and humble man who has worked as a professional piano tuner since 1986 — he’s even tuned pianos for two U.S. Presidents!

Recently, Glen fought and beat cancer, but his recovery has left him unable to work, and he’s facing serious financial hardship. Despite this, Glen is generously offering to sell us his personal box truck at a fair price, helping himself and supporting our mission at Pick It Up Las Vegas.

Who We Are

We are Pick It Up Las Vegas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to cleaning up the neglected washes, tunnels, and streets of Las Vegas.

We have already collected over 4,000 pounds of trash.

We’ve helped several unhoused individuals connect to addiction treatment and life-saving services.

We are growing every day and making an impact across the community — driven by volunteers and neighbors who care.

Why We’re Asking

We are aiming to raise $6,000 to:

$4,000 pay Glen fairly for his truck

$2,000 cover registration, insurance, and fuel to put the truck into service

This truck will let us:

✅ Haul away much larger amounts of trash

✅ Bring more supplies and volunteers to cleanups

✅ Reach more neglected areas across the city

✅ Grow our ability to help people and protect the environment

And most importantly, it will allow us to support Glen, a hardworking and big-hearted man who deserves help as he recovers.
