Help Glen get eye surgery!

Glen (also know as Ragnar) was found in September of 2020 in Lebanon. He was found in a hole and had been shot several times. He was permanently blinded and close to death, his body riddled with shotgun pellets. Through the collective efforts of several rescuers and rescues (Animals Lebanon, Marwa Hussein and Sophie's Dog Adoption), Glen found his way to Canada in February of this year.

This gentle giant has been enjoying his new life in his foster home and adapting exceptionally well. He continually shows me his tremendous capacity to trust and love. It didn't take long for Glen to settle in and explore his goofy, sassy, indulgent and curious sides! He's free to just be a dog, and enjoy life's finer pleasures, like a nice afternoon nap in the sun, a long walk or a piece of duck jerky.

However, when Glen was shot, his eyes were severely disfigured. The sockets remain open and the exposed scar tissue  is prone to recurrent infection. Surgery costs are obviously massively expensive but this is a necessary procedure for his health and safety!

Which is why he needs your help! This resilient angel has lived through so much, but still hasn't finished his journey to recovery yet.

Please help us raise funds for the medical aid he needs and help him remain healthy and happy for many more years to come. Anything you can manage to contribute will be helpful and appreciated!

Since the funds are going directly to Sophie's Dog Adoption, they are tax deductible as well!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Alex

(Glen is also up for adoption, and I've attached this link to his profile!)
