Help Glen and Family Through Tough Times
We would like to introduce you to our wonderful friend Glen (Murray) Roylance! AKA “Murray Strong”.
Glen is a fabulous father, husband, son, brother, uncle ……. and friend! He has always been a hard worker and great support to his family and Community.
His life changed dramatically on November 6, 2020, when he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Not only that but further investigations revealed kidney cancer and significant lung issues. Major hurdles that needed to be overcome before progressing to a Transplant as an option.
Glen has endured countless tests and scans, 3 rounds of intense chemotherapy, major surgery for kidney removal, and multiple blood transfusions that were critical to his survival.
Glen has expressed to us time and time again, how crucial blood donations are for people in his situation….. and for everyone in need. Learn more & schedule a date to donate at Canadian Blood Services | Canada's Lifeline
Glen was so lucky to find that his sister Cindy was a 100% match for a stem cell bone marrow transplant.

On April 16th, 2021, Glen was blessed to have received a transfusion of his sister Cindy stem cells! Over 7.6 million stem cells!!
We have watched Glen and his family bravely navigate this unpredictable journey over the last 8 months and it continues to be a physical, emotional and financial challenge for our friends.
The costs of countless hospital visits/admissions, ongoing medication needs, and accommodation will continue ongoing. Not to mention, Glen’s inability to work and loss of benefits which has created great financial stress and worry on the family.
It has been very difficult to stand on the sidelines wondering how we can help them.
THIS is how we… and YOU can help!
Please consider helping our great friend Glen and his beautiful family!!! Every dollar raised will directly assist in helping with the financial stresses of dealing with cancer.
Don’t forget to be a blood and stem cell donor. https://www.blood.ca/en
Thank You!
