Hello dear friends,

My name is Glaucia, I am 42 years old, married to my wonderful husband Rafael for 20 years. Together, we have been blessed with three amazing children: Esther, Benjamin, and Bella.

We are pastors, both graduated and ordained by Christ for the Nations in 2012. Dallas has always been a special place in our journey. This is actually our second time living here, as we returned so that Esther and Benjamin, who are U.S. citizens, could pursue their studies.

Before leaving Brazil, I completed all my routine health check-ups and everything looked perfectly fine. But earlier this year, while doing a self-exam, I discovered a lump in my left breast. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down with appointments, exams, and the beginning of a long treatment process.

We have two urgent challenges ahead:

Surgery within two weeks – The doctor has advised that a breast removal surgery must be done as soon as possible. The cost of this surgery is $12,000, and we need to raise these funds quickly to move forward to the next step for complete healing.

Chemotherapy after surgery – Once the surgery is completed, we will begin the next phase of treatment: chemotherapy. This will be another financial challenge that we are still unsure how much it will cost, but we know that God will provide the care and the resources we need!

Update on our fundraising goal – We have recently updated our goal to reflect additional expenses that have become necessary along the way. Beyond surgery and chemotherapy, we are also facing significant costs related to medical consultations, ongoing exams, and essential medications. These needs have increased the financial burden of treatment, and we want to be transparent about why our fundraising target has changed.

As pastors, our hearts have always been to serve, encourage, and pour into others. Now, we find ourselves in a place of needing support. It is not easy for us to ask, but we are choosing to walk this journey in faith, hope, and transparency.
