Two years ago, I met Glaiza when I hired her to help with my business. Despite the challenges I faced, her unwavering kindness, resilience, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on me. Even after I had to let her go, we stayed in touch—and now, she needs our help in her most urgent fight yet: saving her children.
After enduring an abusive marriage that left her physically and mentally broken, Glaiza made the brave decision to leave Ghana and return to her home in the Philippines to heal. Her family welcomed her with open arms, giving her the safety and support she desperately needed. But her two young daughters—both under five years old—were left behind in Accra.
Now, Glaiza has discovered that the trauma she escaped has been passed on to her babies. During heartbreaking Zoom calls, she has seen that her girls are underfed, fearful, and subjected to harsh discipline. Every day they remain in that environment deepens their suffering—and every day, Glaiza’s anguish grows.
She must get them out. Now.
Time is running out, and Glaiza is racing against the clock to bring her daughters home to safety. But she cannot do it alone.
Here’s how your support will help:
✈️ Airfare to Ghana and back to the Philippines – Glaiza must travel to Accra immediately to retrieve her children.
Urgent care for her daughters – Proper nutrition, medical attention, and trauma counseling to help them heal.
A fresh start – Funds for essentials like clothing, safe housing, and legal support as they rebuild their lives.
Glaiza has always been a fighter—for herself, for others, and now, most of all, for her children. But this battle is one she shouldn’t have to face alone.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help reunite a mother with her babies and give them the chance to heal together. If you can’t give, please share this campaign—every signal boost brings them closer to safety.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your compassion. Let’s bring these little girls home.
