Hello friends!
It pains me to do this but we desperately need your help. My mom, Gladys, has been diagnosed with vaginal cancer, it's in very early stages but could rapidly develop into a very serious situation. She lives in Venezuela where it's very hard to get treatment due to an ongoing economic collapse, now only worsened by the fact there's a global pandemic. The treatment requires radiotherapy ($5.911,06 USD) and chemotherapy ($1.319,20 USD) which can only be done in certain hospitals since resources are very scarce in the country. Public hospitals don’t have the equipment to deal with this kind of treatment. She isn't really able to work. Me and my siblings support her. Venezuelan currency is so devaluaded at this point that everything is basically handled in USD. We just can't afford the life saving treatment.
On top of the chemo and radiotherapy, she has to go through weekly consultations with doctors and blood tests that amount to $100. So far it’s estimated to cost about $10.000 USD. Please give as little or much as you can, it will make such a difference and we will be very grateful. We know she can overcome this but it will not be easy or cheap and we can’t do it alone.
