Help Gizmo Walk Again – Our Cheeky Cat Needs Urgent Care

Hi, I’m Cecille, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our beloved cat, Gizmo.

Gizmo isn’t just a pet – he’s family. He’s got a huge personality for such a little guy. He grooms us like we’re part of his pride, steals our bed (or the dog’s!), sneakily swipes at the dog when he thinks no one’s watching, and hides under the bed just to jump-scare us at night. He’s cheeky, funny, and full of love.

But for the past couple of weeks, something’s been very wrong. Gizmo started limping on his front left paw, then shifting weight to his back right leg. He moves very little now, walks with an arched back, and struggles to lie down. We’ve been hand-feeding him, and he barely leaves his bed anymore. It’s devastating to watch him suffer and not be able to fix it.

We would normally get him to the vet straight away, but recently my husband had a serious medical episode and had to resign from work. We’re just scraping by at the moment. The vet consult alone is $120, and if X-rays or further testing are needed, it could be up to $1,500 – something we simply can’t afford right now.

We just want to get Gizmo the care he needs. Anything at all – even a small amount – would mean the world to us. And if you’re not in a position to give, please consider sharing our story.
