Hi, my name is Asha, and I’m asking for help for my dog, Gizmo. Gizmo is my companion and my best friend—he means everything to me. He’s still loving, playful, and acts like himself even though he’s been going through a lot medically. His health issues started with ITP (immune-mediated thrombocytopenia), and since then we’ve been through ongoing testing and treatment. I’ve already spent thousands trying to figure out what’s going on and keep him stable, but we still don’t have clear answers.

Recently, a lump was found. After multiple vet visits and a needle aspiration, the results came back inconclusive—the sample was mostly blood and cystic fluid. Because of that, the vet is now recommending surgery to remove it so it can be properly tested. They don’t believe it is immediately life threatening as of now, but it does need to be removed to know exactly what it is and to prevent future issues, as well as to rule out any cancer or figure out if he will need chemotherapy.

At this point, I’m doing everything I can, but the cost of surgery and aftercare is more than I can manage alone after everything I’ve already spent. Gizmo is still happy and acting like himself, and I just want to give him the chance to stay that way. Any help, donations, or sharing his story means so much. Thank you ️
