Hello everyone
My name is Pushkin but you can call me handsome
I had a family a while ago that unfortunately didn't want me anymore and left me behind when they moved out of our home.. I've been living in the streets since then and thanks to a few beautiful humans I never really missed food too much! However I still had to fight off foxes and do my best to keep warm and dry during the gloomiest and coldest nights.
It all changed when Laura brought me home! She gave me food and treats for a while and I trusted her enough to follow her inside! There's already two gorgeous kitties in her house and honestly we are a bit of a crowd but I am so grateful I have a warm bed and roof above my head again and I can sleep soundly without having to worry about survival
The only problem is that my new Meowmmy initially didn't plant on keeping me, she just wanted to help me off the streets, but time is going by and it's hard to find me another home at the moment (and honestly I do like this one very much!).
So here I am asking other good humans if they want to help me and help my Meowmmy giving me the best life possible! With your help she'll be able to buy all the food, litter and treats I need (and I eat a lot eheh).
She also said she needs to bring me to someone called Vet and get them to check my health and cut away something of mine (not excited about this though ).
All of this can be a bit expensive and that's why I'm here asking for your help!

I want to give an idea and insights on the costs* that come with a furry baby.. I already have two gorgeous girls and a third cat is honestly quite a lot to handle financially (even harder if you live in London).
- First things first a vet appointment is needed to check Pushkin's health! We have no idea how old is he, if he's been vaccinated ever or if he has any condition we might not know about yet. A vet visit starts from £65 to £95 for a more in-dept one.
- If vaccine is needed the price is around £100 for the first vaccination and £80 for a booster vaccination (which he most probably needs anyway as it's recommended every year).
- Definitely needs castrating and it costs from £95 (could be more expensive in some cases)
- If a microchip is not present yet (and I doubt there is as if you put one you wouldn't abandon your furry baby afterwards..) we'll want to put one to keep Pushkin safe if anything ever happens! It can cost £30+
- Next cost would be an insurance! Lots of people don't know how having an insurance for pets could be life saving, vet expenses can add up to hundreds or thousands of pounds really quickly if there's any health condition that develops (hopefully none!) so being ready with an insurance can literally save their life! Depending on his age the insurance could be around £20+ per month or more (it can vary a lot based on age and other factors so I can't really tell exactly just yet)
- Extra costs would be present for eventual medicines needed/flea treatments etc..
- Adding on top of this there's food and litter monthly expenses. He'll have a diet of mostly wet food mixed with a bit of dry food during the day (and treats of course) as it's the same way I feed my other two cats already and it would total around £75 per month (could vary depending prices of course!)
*All the vet procedures prices are based on the prices of the vet practice closest to me that I currently refer to for my cats, different practices might have different prices
