I am reaching out to ask for help for my beautiful girl, Zena who I adopted after she spent the start of her life locked in a dark cage, neglected and alone. When she first came to our home, the simple sounds and smells of a household were terrifying to her, but with time and a lot of love, she has blossomed into the most affectionate companion for myself and my two children.

Sadly, she was born with severe eye issues that cause her constant pain and leave her partially sighted. As she approaches her 2nd birthday, I want more than anything for her to finally see the world clearly and move through it without fear. As a single parent with another dog to care for, I have spent months visiting specialists to find the best care for her. Unfortunately, the necessary surgery is incredibly expensive, and my insurance provider has refused to cover the cost as it's considered a pre-existing condition.

She is so happy and comfortable in our home, but this operation is the final piece of the puzzle to give her the quality of life she truly deserves. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward her surgery and help her live a life free from pain. Please help us let her finally see the love that surrounds her every day.
