Help Give Veteran John Vogt his final Goodbye Wish
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and community,
My name is Vita Wagner, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support.
John Vogt, my longtime love, is currently in hospice care. As we prepare for his final journey, it is my wish to honor him in the way he wanted — with a dignified cremation and a simple, respectful funeral service. To make this possible, we are seeking to raise $3,500 to cover the funeral and cremation expenses.
John has lived a life of service. He joined the U.S. Army right out of high school, proudly serving from 1979 to 1982, including time in Turkey as part of a nuclear guard unit. After his military service, John remained deeply committed to supporting his fellow veterans, actively participating in both the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the American Legion. He served as Adjutant of Post 310 for two years, always stepping up to help where he could.
John has touched many lives through his kindness, dedication, and quiet strength. Now, as he approaches the end of his journey, I want to give him the farewell he deserves — one that honors his service, his life, and his wishes.
Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us closer to giving John the dignified goodbye he so greatly deserves. On behalf of John and myself, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, your generosity, and your prayers during this difficult time.
Thank you for helping us honor a life of service, love, and quiet heroism.
With gratitude,
Vita
