This is a donation page for Valeisha Reed. My name is Vanessa Ellerbe, I am creating this GoFundMe for Val. During such a difficult time, we want her community of friends and family to come together to donate enough to give Val the funeral she deserves.

We want to remember Valeisha for all the beautiful parts of her. She was always the friend to be there when you needed a shoulder to cry on, the first to defend you when you needed help. She was the kind of woman who would go above and beyond in everything she did. She loved SpongeBob and always made references that made you giggle. She would write sticky notes for her friends to show that she loved them. She also had a big love for fry bread and chicken nuggets. She was a strong advocate for mental health and worked alongside many people who went through alcohol and drug recovery, as well as the psych unit, where many people came in for mental health reasons. She made so many people laugh and was always there to remind you that you are loved and special. She was very proud of her rich culture, loving pow wow, and always talking about the traditions, the food, and experiences, always extending the invite to whoever wanted to go. She was a light in the dark places, always making people smile and her desire to make people feel like they belonged. We will always remember her incredible heart, the most incredible friend, coworker, cousin, sister, and daughter.
