Help Give Toward Jeremy’s Dream—Bring Pauper into the Studio
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Jeremy Daniel Lynch, a Tacoma-based playwright/lyricist/composer, and I’m currently working to bring Pauper The Musical into the recording studio, and eventually onto the musical stage. Upon reading P. Alexander’s irresistible novel, Pauper, I was charmed to the point of inspiration—I began writing music, lyrics, and a script almost immediately.
I’m hoping to raise $10,000 for the purpose of recording several of the ensemble numbers with a full cast and a robust orchestra. If the goal amount is reached, it will be used wisely to pay performers, the audio engineers, the video production team, to pay the rental of the recording space, to buy liability insurance, to feed everyone in involved (almost fifty people!), to purchase some necessary pieces of recording equipment, and to cover other miscellaneous expenses that may occur. Every dollar will be allocated thoughtfully, and nothing will be purchased without careful consideration.
By giving to this fundraiser, you’re believing in the future of one very grateful playwright. With professional audio and video recordings of key numbers from Pauper, I’ll have the ability to showcase my work in the best light, demonstrating my show’s potential, and building interest and momentum for a future production. And with any luck, it just might find its way to New York!
Please consider helping me reach my goal—every dollar brings me one step closer to a dream worth chasing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
