Help Me Give My Kids the Summer Memory They Deserve

Hi friends,

I’m a single mom of three doing my best to keep everything together, and im SO embarrassed that i'm even doing this, however, I’ve been saving for months to give my kids a special vacation this summer—a few days away where we could just be together, laugh, and make memories we’ll never forget.

But life doesn’t always go as planned. A sudden need for new tires drained a big part of our savings, and then my daughter accidentally racked up over $300 on Roblox from my linked card. I know it’s ultimately my mistake for not unlinking it, but Apple denied my refund request, and now my bank says it could be up to 10 business days before they make a decision. That means any refund wouldn’t even come until after we’re supposed to be home.

We already have tickets to the Savannah Bananas game on July 25th (a dream for my kids!) and a hotel booked from the 24th–27th that I can’t cancel. But right now, with only $207 to my name, I don’t know how I’ll afford the gas and food to get us through this trip.

I’m not someone who asks for help often, but I don’t want to look at my kids and tell them we can’t go after all the excitement and planning. If you can help—even with something as simple as a gas card, food gift card, or sharing this post—it would mean the world to us.
