In the heart of Trinidad, there’s a kind-hearted woman who has made it her life’s mission to rescue and care for stray and abandoned animals that others overlook. Without any formal shelter or organization, she drives through the deserted roads, searching for abandoned, sick, injured, hungry animals and brings them home.

She feeds them, cleans them, tends to their wounds, and does her best to get them veterinary care. With very limited resources and support, she’s stretched thin. Her home has become a makeshift shelter, but what she really needs is help — food, medicine, and eventually, a more stable shelter space for her animals.

Most Trinidadians struggle financially, and while the community admires her efforts, few can spare the money to help. That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe: to raise money for food, medical care, and shelter improvements for the animals she takes in. Every dollar goes directly toward supplies and services to improve the lives of these deserving animals.

She’s not doing this for recognition or reward — only because she can’t bear to see an animal suffer. Let’s show her she’s not alone. Let’s help her continue this life-saving work and give these animals the second chance they deserve.
