Hi, my name is Scott and I am writing in support of my Husky, Sierra. Three days ago, at the time of writing this, Sierra was bitten by a rattle snake in San Diego while on hiking trails. I was able to bring Sierra to a veterinarian clinic within 30 minutes but the onset of venom was debilitating. This is a case of severe neurotoxins that have effected her entire body. I was able to provide for the first three days of 24 hour ICU care, but she is still fighting for her life. I've burned the boats and gone all-in on the care that I can provide, and now I humbly ask for your assistance in keeping her alive 24 hours at a time. The prognosis is good if she can remain on oxygen to regain her ability to breathe on her own and eventually gain muscular function. The vet is confident about a positive outcome if treatment can be sustained long enough for her to adequately recover. She is my best friend and a huge part of my family. Thank you.
