My name is Abdallah, and I live in Belgium. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my brother's family to help my two-year-old niece, Ronza, continue receiving the urgent medical treatment she desperately needs.

I’m sharing Ronza’s story because what this little girl and her sister, Zeina, are fighting for is nothing short of extraordinary.

When Ronza was just 8 months old, Zeina and their family received the devastating news that no parent, sibling, or loved one is ever prepared to hear—especially while trapped in Gaza, surrounded by war, destruction, and blockade. Ronza was diagnosed with severe malnutrition and severe anemia, and doctors warned that she might not survive unless she received urgent therapeutic nutrition and life-saving medication as soon as possible.

But Ronza is still here.

This year, Ronza celebrated her second birthday. And for the first time in a very long time, Zeina is no longer fighting only for her little sister’s survival—she is witnessing hope, progress, and precious moments that everyone once believed would never be possible.

Earlier this year, Zeina took her sister to Deir al-Balah in southern Gaza, where Ronza completed her first course of treatment. Since beginning treatment, Ronza has made incredible progress that has completely changed her quality of life.

For the first time in a long time, her family is seeing improvement instead of decline.

Through ongoing medical care and therapeutic nutrition, Ronza is becoming stronger, more responsive, and more engaged with the people around her. She is gradually gaining more stability in her body, learning to bear weight with support, breathing more comfortably, and showing noticeable improvement in her ability to swallow.

For the first time in her life, Ronza is more comfortable, more peaceful, and more connected with the world around her.

Her family sees it every single day—in her eyes, in her smile, and in the strength she continues to show.

But this progress cannot stop now.

To protect and build upon these remarkable improvements, Ronza urgently needs to continue her treatment and receive the therapeutic nutrition and medication she depends on without delay.

For her family, this journey has never been about chasing miracles or false promises. It has always been about giving their daughter more comfort, more dignity, more smiles, and most importantly, more time together.

Living through war and blockade in Gaza, the emotional and financial burden on Ronza’s family is beyond imagination. The cost of medical treatment, travel, accommodation, specialized care, and ongoing support is simply more than they can bear alone.

The family now needs to raise €30,000 to ensure Ronza can continue receiving the urgent treatment she needs.

Funds raised will go directly toward Ronza’s medical treatment, medical travel, flights, accommodation, specialized medical equipment, and the daily care costs needed to support her throughout this journey.

I know there are so many people who will read Ronza’s story and be inspired by the courage, resilience, and hope this little girl carries every single day.
