Hello, my name is Desiree Zingali, and I am Robert’s only child. I was not raised by my father, but we reconnected when I turned 18 and over the years we built a beautiful relationship. I got to see him find recovery and give so much of himself to others — everywhere I went in my early 20s, if someone heard my last name, they knew who he was and shared how he helped them or their family. I am now trying to honor him as best as I can. He does have a small life insurance policy, but I am currently getting the runaround and it may take a long time to receive anything. I am trying to raise funds to cover his cremation and arrangements so that I can give him a proper celebration of life in California in January 2026. With the holidays coming and me living out of state, anything helps. I’ve never done this before, but I wanted to reach out with love and gratitude. Thank you so much for your support.
