Help Give Robert Duarte a Beautiful Goodbye

My name is Brianna Duarte, the proud granddaughter of Robert Mark Duarte. My grandfather (Tata) has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer for a little over a year now and unfortunately the doctors decided there is nothing they can do for him anymore… He tried to fight this but the chemo did not help him. In fact I believe that sped up the process. My Tata has been the best man in my life. I was lucky to have him walk me down the aisle before he got diagnosed with this ugly disease. I did not expect to prepare to lose someone I love so much this sudden. It is hard to accept this and to keep going on with life. He is a very well respected man, made a friend everywhere he went. He’s a family man, a kind soul and the life of the party. He knew how to live life to the fullest and have a great time. He loved music and knew many musicians. He loved playing the bongos and acoustic guitar. I wish he could be here a lot longer to spend more time with his family, grandchildren & great grandchildren that love him dearly. This is all disheartening to say the least. Any donations would help my family tremendously since all expenses are put on my Nana and she has had no help since this all fell on her. He is currently resting at home on Hospice, we do not have a time frame for how long he has. He deserves a nice funeral. I have done some research to the cost of a funeral and it is a pretty penny even for the cheapest option. I set the goal for $9k but anything will help and is appreciated. Thank you and God bless!
