HELP Give Robbie a Beautiful Funeral

My name is Elaine Alvarez,  sister in law of Roberta (aka. Robbie) Alvarez.  She was a beautiful person married to my brother.  It is unfortunate that a life insurance plan was not set up but here we are in need of funeral cost funds. Her funeral home services cost will be $5608 which is a grave side service while her burial will cost around $5000. As family, we have limited resources.  We could use assistance from other friends and family as well to be able to meet the total cost of the services. Robbie was the most positive and optimistic person known to anyone.  She was a friend to all she met. She embraced life no matter the cancer she was fighting.  She fought with joy and a positive outlook.  Not once did she exhibit despair or gloom. She loved her family,  her adult children and all her grandbabies as she called them. She often took full meals to her brother and his friends who were without a home. She often helped serve our veterans making 80lbs of potato salad from scratch. She served as a Healthcare provider, in home care provider and catered several community dinner events. She loved billiards and gardening! She loved baking desserts! Living with her during the pandemic this year, we never went hungry. We loved home-cooked meals!  We just want the best funeral service to honor the beautiful person she was in our lives! She was a daughter of a Korean War Veteran and very proud to be part of a family (her husband, my brother), myself and sister who were kids of a Vietnam Veteran.  Children of Veterans never forget the sacrifices of military men and women made on our behalf.
