Help Us Save Neville

My name is Brittany, and I’m creating this for my brother Matt and his partner Chris, to help their sweet dog Neville. Animals come into our lives and change them in ways we never expect. They become our family, our children, and the ones who love us unconditionally. For Chris, a retired Army veteran living with PTSD, that bond is even deeper. His animals have always been his safe place, his steady ground through life’s hardest moments.

Last year, Matt and Chris went through the heartbreak of losing their dog Cedric unexpectedly. Now they’re facing heartache once again. Neville has been diagnosed with oral melanoma, and they’re doing everything they can to give him a fighting chance.

The costs, though, are more than they can handle on their own:

• CT scan to see treatment options: about $3,000

• Surgery (if the cancer hasn’t spread): about $5,000

• Cancer vaccine (immune-based treatment): $1,000 a dose, once a week for four weeks = about $4,000

• Radiation was also mentioned, though costs aren’t clear yet, and chemotherapy hasn’t shown much success in similar cases.

Altogether, treatment could be anywhere from $8,000–$12,000 depending on what the scan shows.

Neville isn’t just a dog. He’s family. He’s Chris’s anchor, Matt’s constant companion, and their baby. Helping Neville means giving them hope, love, and more time together.
