Two months ago, our family received the heartbreaking news that my mother-in-law was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. The disease progressed rapidly, and she is now on hospice care. Throughout her life, she faced many challenges, including financial struggles that made it impossible for her to afford life insurance. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always gave her last to help others, no matter how little she had herself.
