Hi, my name is Michael Godin and my mom just died 10/24 at 2:15pm. My father is still fighting for his life as we speak with covid in the hospital. If it isn’t hard enough to handle without any other issues that arise, I’m struggling to figure out how to handle her final expenses. She was always there for others and would give you the sweater off her back or be right there to make a hot meal or lend an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on. She was always knitting and crocheting something for someone daily, til she became ill. She was very active in every church she has been a part of in her life and continued to help out even after moving on to different church families as time went on. She has touched countless lives, from the Pregnancy Crisis Centers to being church secretary at Leominster Assembly for close to 20 years and even the yarn shop she ran in her home for 20 years after being church secretary. I am at a loss for words at the loss of my mom, but even more lost and overwhelmed by the amount it is going to cost with no funds to pull from and life insurance that apparently lapsed prior to her passing. Any help is greatly appreciated. The way I look at it, if everyone I know and everyone she has helped or touched along the way gave even 5 dollars each… I’d be able to raise the 10 grand needed to provide the proper burial my mom deserves.
